Coats of Perfection March 26, 2010 11:42

I was shopping in my local supermarket some months ago and a saw a lady wearing a fantastic coat. I asked her where it was from and she told me it was a Desigual coat (see picture)…

Well, I thought to myself, me gonna have that coat!
So I went to buy it and although it was fairly expensive, I didn’t care. But, when I saw it, I was not quite as impressed as I had been in the supermarket. I loved the back eye panel but I really did not like the red back flap and it was all tones of brown red and gold, I’m more of a black and silver person. I didn’t want to spend so much money on something that wasn’t perfect so I set about searching for the perfect coat. I couldn’t find it.
I decided to buy a really lovely plain black wool coat and pimp it to my taste. I laboured for so long over what to put on it that my husband finally reminded me that if I didn’t get on with it, the winter would be over, so I spent 2 days fussing over my coat and finally I was happy with my choices. Here is a crappy picture of skinny Big Dolly modeling my coat. (it really does look better in real life)
